Welcome Center to host Tourism Week events
HAMMOND – The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority will hold its annual Tourism Week Luncheon at the Indiana Welcome Center starting at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9.
Tickets are $35 per person. RSVPs will be taken until Wednesday, May 2 at (219) 554-2229.

HAMMOND – Northwest Indiana hosted some 300 basketball teams over the weekend for the Adidas Girls Hoosier Hardwood Classic and the Chicago Hoops Spring Show.
The Adidas Girls Hoosier Hardwood Classic featured 96 teams from across the country and the Chicago Hoops Spring Showdown attracted some 200 teams.
