Murray to head national hospice group

SOUTH BEND – Mark Murray, president and CEO of Center for Hospice Care, has been re-elected to a one-year term as chairman of the board for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.

The group has 52,000 members, including 3,700 hospice and palliative care provider members.

Hall named assistant director of C.U.R.E.

Quality of Life Council receives $55,000 grant

Prisby to retire as CEO of Citizens

MUNSTER – Thomas F. Prisby, chairman and chief executive officer of CFS Bancorp, Inc., the parent of Citizens Financial Bank, has announced his retirement after 30 years with the institution.

He will serve as chairman emeritus of the bank until Dec. 31, 2013.

Society of Innovators cites marsh project

LOWELL – The Indiana Grand Kankakee Marsh Restoration Project has been named the November Innovator of the Month by the Society of Innovators of Northwest Indiana.

Two region environmental groups merge
