Long-time NIRPC director to step down

PORTAGE – John Swanson, the executive director of the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission since 2004, has announced he will step down from that position at the end of the year.

Swanson was previously head of the Northeastern Illinois Regional Planning Commission for 30 years before taking over the position in Northwest Indiana.

Ryan named CEO of Press Ganey

SOUTH BEND – Patrick Ryan has been named chief executive officer of Press Ganey Associates in South Bend.

Ryan, a 30-year healthcare veteran, is also purchasing a minority stake in the company. Most recently, he was chairman and CEO at The Broadlane Group in Dallas.
